Scripture Glimpses

Scripture Cards are a spiritual creation of mine.  Let me give you my testimony…

In February 2009 while praying, I received a word from the Lord, saying “they don’t know me.”  I continued to pray so that I could receive wisdom and understanding.  The Holy Spirit gave me divine direction stating I had to create 100 Scripture Cards and give them away.  These cards would be created using photographs I had taken or was going to take.

Each photo would have a relevant scripture attached to it.  It was also very clear that I not be able to earn a single dime from these cards until I gave away 100 of them.

Now, I struggled with the understanding of this task.  Did my Lord want me to create 100 different designs and give them away?  Or did he want me just to create 100 cards period and give them away?

I have understood Him to mean create 100 different designs and give them all away.  Once I reach that point of giving them away, I will then begin selling them in the form of posters, postcards, T-shirts, calendars, etc.

However, until then, let me tell you  a little about me.

I am a divorced mother of two children a son (deceased) and a daughter.  My ex-husband was physically abusive and drug addicted.  I even tried drugs just to satisfy him, but that did not work.  During the time I was with him, I was chronically depressed and attempted suicide twice.

I am here today only because the Lord said, “not so.”

I recommend you to get to know Our Lord and Savior, develop an intimate relationship with Him the same way you would a potential mate.  Give Him your all and let Him lead your life.
